I am looking for a great B&B to stay at in New Orleans. Any suggestions? I am looking at the Avenue Inn what do you think. Virginia from Long Beach, Calif.

When trying to decide on a Bed and Breakfast, take many factors into account.

Ambiance-Is it a restored building in a quiet neighborhood?

Location-Is it convenient to where you want to go?

Ownership-Do the Innkeepers live on property so that you can interface with them and learn some of the inside tips of the city?

Environment-Does the Inn offer the room type that you are looking for and does it have modern amenities including an updated bathroom in the guest room? Is it safety engineered with modern sprinkler systems and exits?

Parking- If you need it, is it off street and free?

Food service- At a minimum do they offer an upgraded contiental breakfast, complimentary snack bar and other free items?

Sleep- Are courtesy hours observed at night so everyone in the house gets a nice rest from all the day’s fun and frolic?

Bedding-Upgraded, deep matresses with high count linen and tripple sheeting so you only touch fresh bed linen?

Consierge Service- Can your vacation be planned for you with the best restaurants and venues?

If you find a facility that meets all these requirements, then you may have a winner. The Avenue Inn Bed and Breakfast, in answer to your question, does a have all of these and more, so my choice for a nice place to stay would be at the Avenue Inn B&B. Call the Innkeepers today and check your date for availabity.
