Celebration in the Oaks; a New Orleans Tradition in City Park

28 November 2008

T-Rex is back. And so are the popular raptors. The Dinobration exhibit, a crowd favorite since 2003, is returning for the 2008 Celebration in the Oaks™, New Orleans City Park’s annual magical holiday festival. Also new are a dancing light show and a snow machine that will keep Mr. Bingle chilled with hourly snow showers. Of course, the fabled Carousel will be operational, complete with new lighting and music, and the train will take patrons on an enchanted journey highlighted by an electrifying light display along City Park Avenue. New favorites will be the Coney Tower ride and a new Ferris Wheel. A rich tradition in New Orleans during the Christmas season is Celebration in the Oaks™. Share in the joy and spirit of the 24th annual Celebration.
